Pre-conference gathering (Wednesday 10 September)

Come and join us as of 18h30 at the Vieux Mûrier on Place Plumereau, one of the most emblematic squares in Tours. Weather permitting, we’ll be sitting outside relaxing and enjoying drinks and finger food (not included in the registration fees!).

Welcome Reception (Thursday 11 September)

We invite all registered participants to the Welcome reception which will take place at 18h at MAME (the conference venue)

Conference dinner (Friday 12 September)

The conference dinner will take place at the prestigious Amboise Castle on Friday 12 September. Amboise is a beautiful city on the Loire river, about 30 km from Tours. The castle was a royal residence in the 15th century and is the burial place of Leonardo Da Vinci who lived in Amboise for a few years (1516-1519). Transportation to the castle will be organized by bus on the day of the dinner (September 12th):  departure from Tours at 18h30 (at MAME – the conference venue) and return to Tours by 23h.

The cost for the dinner is 65€, to be paid upon registration, in addition to the conference fees. It will NOT be possible to register to, and pay for the dinner after SUNDAY 31 AUGUST, 23h59 CET (including during the conference). 

Vegan and nonvegan menus will be available. For nonvegans, the main dish will be veal.

Post-conference activity (Saturday 13 September)

For those of you who'd like to take advantage of the Tours region, we're currently working together with the Tourism Office of Tours on the organization of an excursion to a very nice spot nearby (such as Chenonceaux Castle or Villandry Castle). This will take place on the Saturday afternoon. More information will be made available shortly.
